TRAILER SPECIFICATIONS

Central Refrigerated Service currently operates only the most state-of-the art tractors and trailers. They feature Thermo King SB190 and SB210 Performance reefer units. These new reefers have a cooling capacity of 60,000 BTU – an increase in capacity of 20,000 BTU. The new trailers have 2" walls and heavier-duty floors. Of the 730 new trailers, 280 are intermodal, each carrying 100 gallons of fuel, which enables them to run continuously for 5 days. All these new trailers significantly upgrade our fleet of 2,900 total active 53' refrigerated trailers, which also feature Thermo King units with Reefer Tracs and Smart Reefer technology, an investment in the best equipment available to protect our customer’s interests, and our own.
